JIM KELCH  /  BASS,VOCALS

Jim first started playing bass around 1980 when he was asked about it by a local band. Not owning a bass or ever played one, he agreed and bought a repossessed bass from a local banker. He could not read music so he relied on his ear and guitarist to help him. Jim took 4 bass guitar lessons and decided to rely on his ear to learn and still does to this day. He has played in bands The Force, Vital Signs, Lightn’ Up, Maybe Later, 8 Track Mind, and now High Anxiety. Jim never really sang until was prompted to from fellow musicians. With alot of , encouragement and teaching from fellow band mates Tom Wood and Preston Lambert and ALOT of practice, he has progressed into a 3rd vocalist. With a deep Love and Passion for music, It’s been a dream come true for Jim.
